Women of the Word
Women of the Word (WOW) is a ministry where women can connect with God and other women through Worship, Bible Teaching, and Small group discussion.
At WOW, we try to cultivate an environment where women can not only study the word together and worship our Savior, but we connect as sisters on a deeper level through small group discussions. It is through those relationships that culture shifts happen and as a group, we can impact our church and the world around us as we grow together in Christ.
OUR CURRENT STUDY
The Way of Wisdom
Dear Ladies,
We pray you will join us as we dig into this study in Proverbs. Proverbs 1:7 says, “The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” As we dig into this study, we need to ask ourselves, “Can true wisdom be gained through human effort and experience or is it only possible by revelation of God? If we believe the latter then having a right relationship with God through Jesus is our “way to Wisdom”. We are going to explore the character traits that are revealed in Proverbs 31 and do a mini study throughout the whole of proverbs over our 6 sessions.
This will be for all ladies, whether you are married, single, widowed etc. it applies to us all!
WHEN + WHERE
WOW meets every other Thursday at 9:30 am and again at 7 pm. Our 9:30 am service/teaching is live-streamed on our Website and YouTube page.
It is important to us that mothers with children can still attend our ladies’ bible studies, so we provide free childcare during our regular Thursday morning studies for those who have prearranged care with our childcare director, Danielle Pretlove
