All of our worship services have a casual and “come as you are” atmosphere. In total, a CCG church service is about 1 hour & 30 minutes in length. Services begins with the CCG worship band leading the church in contemperary worship song & hymns. Song lyrics are projected onto the screen so you can sing along and or engage with worship, however you feel comfortable. And after that portion of service is complete, one of our pastors will come out an share an encouraging and practical message about Jesus as we study the Bible together verse by verse.
We don’t pass an offering plate or basket. Instead, you’ll find Tithe & Offering Boxes placed conveniently in the auditorium where tithes, offerings, prayer requests, and contact information can be placed.
We believe children should be excited to learn from the Bible every single week. At Calvary Children’s Ministry, that is a top priority. We are passionate about creating a safe and engaging environment where children can grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Another priority is safety. All of our Children’s Ministry volunteers are carefully screened and thoroughly trained, so you can feel confident your child is in a secure and caring environment.
If it’s your first time joining us, we recommend arriving about 10 minutes early to allow time to sign in and get settled.
Calvary Children’s Ministry is available during every CCG service for children from infant through 5th grade.
Worship is an integral part of all we do at CCG. Worship is lifestyle; how we love God with our life (Romans 12:1-2). Worship also includes the music we sing. We believe that when we sing the truths of who God is, what He’s done & who we are in Christ, God meets us where we are. Worship is an overflow of our heart as we give praise to our God and Savior for all He has done and all that He is. At CCG, we worship through contemporary Christian songs & hymns that are carefully and prayerfully chosen to prepare each worshiper for God’s message through the teaching of His Word.
You can listen to our latest song set on our Spotify channel.
On the first Sunday and third Wednesday of the month, we commemorate the broken body and shed blood of Jesus, and we celebrate their significance in our lives. We believe that communion is not necessary for salvation, but we acknowledge it as a practice of believers as commanded by Jesus. Our communion is open, which means any adult who has trusted in the finished work of Christ on the cross for the forgiveness of their own personal sins is welcome to join us.
