Children’s Ministry Director

WELCOME

At Calvary Chapel Greer, we value children (Matthew 19:14-15b) and aim to provide age appropriate worship and teaching. Our goal is to undergird parents as they train up their children in the way they should go. (Proverbs 22v6) We also strive to communicate God’s Word in an age-appropriate environment that captures their attention and allows the Holy Spirit to work in their hearts.

We understand that attending a new church can feel unfamiliar for a child, and we want every child in our care to feel safe and at ease. If your child is hesitant about staying in the Children’s Ministry classroom for the first time, we ask that you contact the Children’s ministry Director to discuss the situation.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Our Children’s Ministry is divided by age and grade level, from nursery through 5th grade, this enables them to learn and grow in an environment designed specifically for them.

Each service includes a combination of collective worship, a Bible lesson, snacks and fun activities such as games, coloring, and crafts that reinforce the lesson.

Our goal is to create a place where children feel welcomed, have fun, and learn God’s Word in a meaningful way. Our mission as a church is that the people of CC Greer would be the best fed, best loved and best cared for flock in Greer – this includes our children!

SIGN IN/SIGN OUT SECURITY

Your child’s safety is extremely important to us at CCG. For that reason, we require that a parent or adult guardian sign in and sign out their child for each service.

Sign in begins 10 minutes prior to service start time. When you sign in, you will receive a security tag with your child’s assigned number. That same adult must present the tag in order to sign the child out of the classroom.

If we need to contact you during service, your tag number will be displayed on the monitors in the auditorium.
