What can I expect?
All of our worship services have a casual and “come as you are” atmosphere. In total, a CCG church service is about 1 hour & 30 minutes in length. Services begins with the CCG worship band leading the church in contemperary worship song & hymns. Song lyrics are projected onto the screen so you can sing along and or engage with worship, however you feel comfortable. And after that portion of service is complete, one of our pastors will come out an share an encouraging and practical message about Jesus as we study the Bible together verse by verse.
We don’t pass an offering plate or basket. Instead, you’ll find Tithe & Offering Boxes placed conveniently in the auditorium where tithes, offerings, prayer requests, and contact information can be placed.
What about my children?
We believe that our children should be excited to learn from the bible every single week. And at CALVARY CHILDREN we make this a priority. Another thing we make a priority is your children’s safety and because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Calvary Children program. All of our workers are carefully screened and thoroughly trained, so you can be confident we are providing the best possible care for your children. The first time that you join us, you want to give yourself an extra 10 minutes to get signed in for the CALVARY CHILDREN experience.
CALVARY CHILDREN is offered at every CCG church service for children ages infant – 5th grade.
See CALVARY CHILDREN to learn more about how we minister to your children.
Worship
Worship is an integral part of all we do at CCG. Worship is lifestyle; how we love God with our life (Romans 12:1-2). Worship also includes the music we sing. We believe that when we sing the truths of who God is, what He’s done & who we are in Christ, God meets us where we are. Worship is an overflow of our heart as we give praise to our God and Savior for all He has done and all that He is. At CCG, we worship through contemporary Christian songs & hymns that are carefully and prayerfully chosen to prepare each worshiper for God’s message through the teaching of His Word.
You can listen to our latest song set on our Spotify channel.
Communion
On the first Sunday and third Wednesday of the month, we commemorate the broken body and shed blood of Jesus, and we celebrate their significance in our lives. We believe that communion is not necessary for salvation, but we acknowledge it as a practice of believers as commanded by Jesus. Our communion is open, which means any adult who has trusted in the finished work of Christ on the cross for the forgiveness of their own personal sins is welcome to join us.
