CCG & ISRAEL

“Why The Church Must Stand With Israel.”

In the wake of the attack on October 7th, 2023, Many don’t understand the biblical significance behind the Church standing with Israel, so on October 22, 2023, Pastor Randy gave a special message on the subject titled, “Why the Church Must Stand With Israel.”

Here’s a quick synopsis of that message –

In scripture, we see the Abrahamic Covenant which solidifies Israel’s inheritance and the promise of blessing for those who support her. (Genesis 12);

(v1-3)“Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great, and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

God’s love extends even to Israel’s enemies, but the evil intentions of groups like Hamas reveal a demonic influence intent on annihilating God’s chosen people.

Scripture even prophesies the intense hostility towards Israel and Jerusalem, warning of dire consequences for those who seek its destruction, notably Zechariah 12:1-3,

“The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it”

As believers, we are called to prayerful vigilance, recognizing the spiritual significance of the conflict and the coming return of Christ. Our support for Israel is rooted in our understanding of God’s plan for redemption.

However, as believers, we must also remember that Jesus came to this earth to die so that ALL men may be saved. The people of Israel. The people of Palestine alike. Jesus’ message was one of love, and we should strive to demonstrate that same love. Let us stand with Israel, affirming our commitment to God’s chosen nation while aligning ourselves also with the examples Jesus set by the life that He lived.

Therefore, pray fervently, prepare diligently, and remain steadfast in our knowledge of Scripture, recognizing the signs of the times and eagerly awaiting our blessed hope—the Rapture of the Church!

Luke 21:28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near!
