ADULT DAY CARE MINISTRY

For the past year and a half, Calvary Chapel Greer has been partnering with the Active Day Adult Day Care Center. We send a team every 6-8 weeks to host our program designed to engage each individual on a level they can participate in. Our goal is to not just provide a service but rather to foster connection, bring the residents joy, and to cultivate an atmosphere that brings spiritual refreshment and points back to Christ!

Every visit includes a time of worship through song, a short devotional, crafts designed specifically for the residents, and time at the end to interact and get to know each resident.

The Active Day center has created an environment for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities to stay in that is both safe and enjoyable. Calvary Chapel Greer’s partnership with them is designed to maintain this environment while additionally serving them and showing them love in the same way Christ shows love.

Joining us on scheduled Tuesday mornings is a simple, low-commitment way to serve the church and community both. You won’t want to miss it!
