At Calvary Chapel Greer, we are committed to pointing children to Jesus. We partner with you in the spiritual development of your child, and we strive to relate God’s Word in a “kid friendly” environment that captures his attention and allows the Holy Spirit to do a work in his life.
We know sometimes visiting a new church can be uncomfortable for a child, and we want all children in our care to feel at ease. If your child is hesitant about staying in children’s church the first time, you are welcome to remain in the class until a level of comfort is achieved.
Your child’s security is of the utmost importance to us at CCG. For that reason, we require that a parent or adult guardian check in your child to the appropriate class. Check-in can be done up to 15 minutes prior to service start time.
At check-in, a tag with the child’s assigned number will be given to the adult, and that same adult must present the tag in order to receive the child from class. In the event you are needed during the service, your tag number will be displayed on the monitors in the auditorium.
Our children’s program is lead by Chris and Yasmin Hampton and is divided into two main groups:
Calvary Kids is for children from K4 through the 5th grade. During adult church service, Calvary Kids have their very own service where they learn to worship and hear the truth of God’s Word, all in ways that are fun, interesting, and age appropriate.
Calvary Cuddlers includes the nursery for babies up to 2 years old and the toddler room for little ones 2-4. Here children are expertly cared for by experienced workers who love the children in their care. Kim Greene is over the nursery, and Julie Cervini oversees the toddler room.
